Coo-Var Acrylic Floor Paint ART + Believe Mural at Littlecoates Primary Academy Grimsby

Situation

Art + Believe were asked by Littlecoates Primary Academy to create a piece of art that was fun, unique, and bright for the children to enjoy. Art+Believe’s trademark style incorporates horizontal, geometric design, with vibrance and symmetry. They needed a product that was easy to work with, resistant to the elements and above all else would last and stand the test of time.

Execution

To ensure the highest quality finish, for the smoothest application and the brightest colours Coo-Var Acrylic Floor Paint was used. Although traditionally designed for floors, the tough durable nature of the product makes it a great choice for a wall or floor.
The surface was first primmed using a thinned down coat, this helps with adhesion and allows the product to sink into the surface before finishing will a full thickness coat.
