Product Description

Coo-Var Profloor Plus Fast Hardening is a fast hardening resin based two-pack epoxy floor paint for the harshest environments and outstanding resistance to abrasion.

Floors can be put back into operation just 36 hours after the final coat which is ideal for factories etc. that require work to be done within a shut down period.

An anti-slip additive is available.

Can Profloor Plus Fast Hardening two-pack epoxy floor paint be applied to any surface?

Profloor Plus Fast Hardening can be applied to various surfaces, including concrete, wood, and metal. However, the surface must be properly prepared, clean, and free of contaminants like oil, grease, and dust for the best adhesion and finish.

Can I apply Profloor Plus Fast Hardening two-pack epoxy floor paint over a previous floor paint?

We recommend applying this floor paint over previous two-pack epoxy floor paints only, applying over a single pack floor paint is not recommended.

Do I need a primer when applying a two-pack epoxy floor paint ?

We recommend priming bare concrete with ProSeal High Performance Primer.

For Metal use 2 Pack Zinc Phosphate Primer

How should I prepare the surface before applying a two-pack epoxy floor paint ?

For concrete floors, mechanical grinding, shot blasting or acid etching may be necessary to remove dust and laitance.

Ensure the surface is completely clean and dry before application, coo-var degreaser or oil remover can be used to clean the floor.

Moisture content of the surface should be checked to determine correct primer prior to painting.

For other surfaces, appropriate cleaning and sanding may be required to create a suitable profile for the paint to adhere to.

For previously painted surfaces, make sure to clean, abrade and remove all loose and falking material.

How long does Profloor Plus Fast Hardening two-pack epoxy floor paint take to dry?
Ovecoat time is 4 hours, you can walk over the surface after 8 - 10 hours but we recommend leaving the floor 36 hours before exposing it to veichle traffic.

How many coats of Profloor Plus Fast Hardening two-pack epoxy floor paint should I apply?
Two coats.

What maintenance is required for Profloor Plus Fast Hardening two-pack epoxy floor paint?
Regular sweeping and mopping with a non-abrasive cleaner will keep the floor looking good. Avoid using high abrasive cleaning tools, as these can damage the epoxy coating. Additionally, promptly clean up any spills to prevent staining.
