Coo-Var Brick and Tile Paint is a gloss red general purpose, versatile alkyd based paint for application to brick, stone, tiles or cement. Ideal for use on porches, outbuildings, garden walls etc.

What is Coo-Var Brick and Tile Paint?

Coo‑Var Brick & Tile Paint – Gloss Red is a specialist exterior/interior paint made by Coo-Var, designed mainly for brick, masonry, stone, tiles and render, and finished in a gloss red colour. It’s a traditional alkyd (oil-based) paint rather than a water-based masonry paint, giving a hard, glossy, weather-resistant finish on suitable surfaces

This adheres to brick and tile, dries to a hard glossy film, and protects the surface from the elements while improving appearance

How many coats of Coo-Var Brick and Tile Paint do I need?

Two coats would be our general recommendation, however nothing stops any user from applying more

Do I need to prime the surface before applying Coo-Var Brick and Tile Paint?

No. This can be applied directly onto suitable, well-prepared stable surfaces

Can I use Coo-Var Brick and Tile Paint on any surface?

No, this is designed specifically for certain surfaces:

- Brickwork

- Masonry

- Render

- Tiles

Is Coo-Var Brick and Tile Paint safe to use?

Yes — it is safe to use, but only if you follow proper safety precautions typical for solvent-based paints. It’s not hazardous in normal decorative use, but it does contain solvents that can pose health and safety risks if directly inhaled

Yes, as long as they are well-prepared
