Marcus Methods Brings Colour and Creativity to Well Spring Academy

SITUATION

Well Spring Academy in Grimsby was looking to refresh several large areas of the school that had started to look tired and dated. The existing surfaces had seen plenty of use over the years and the school wanted to create a more engaging and positive environment for pupils and staff. The aim was to bring new life to the space and make it a place the whole school community could feel proud of.

EXECUTION

To bring the space to life, artist Marcus Methods was invited to create a bold and engaging design. Known for his colourful, abstract style, Marcus used a wide range of shades to transform the area into a vibrant, uplifting space.

For the project, Marcus chose our Coo Var Anti Slip Acrylic Floor Paint, a trusted choice for high traffic areas. This water based product was selected for its durability, low odour and slip resistant finish, ensuring the surface would be both safe and long lasting. The paint provided a professional matt finish that complemented Marcus’s creative vision while meeting the practical needs of a busy school environment.

OUTCOME

The finished result is a bright and inspiring space that has been warmly received by staff and pupils alike. The colours bring a sense of energy and positivity to the school, while the anti slip coating ensures safety for everyone who walks through the area.
