FAQs

What is Solar Reflecting Paint White?

Solar white paint is a type of reflective coating that reflects a higher percentage of sunlight and absorbs less heat compared to traditional paints. It is typically used on roofs and exterior surfaces to improve energy efficiency by keeping buildings cooler.

How does Solar Reflecting Paint White work?

The paint contains reflective pigments that reflect a significant portion of the sun's ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR) radiation. This helps to reduce the amount of heat absorbed by the surface, thereby keeping the structure cooler.

Where can Solar Reflecting Paint White be used?

It is commonly used on pitched roofs only, this cannot be applied to flat surfaces.

How is Solar Reflecting Paint White applied?

The paint can be applied using a brush or roller, or spray. The surface needs to be clean, dry, and free from dirt, debris, and any previous coatings that might impair adhesion.

How many coats of Solar Reflecting Paint White are needed?

Typically, two coats are recommended for optimal performance.

How long does Solar Reflecting Paint White?

The durability of solar white paint depends on the quality of the product, environmental conditions, and maintenance.

What are the benefits of using Solar Reflecting Paint White?

Benefits include reduced heat absorption, lower indoor temperatures, decreased cooling costs, extended lifespan of the roof or surface, and reduced urban heat island effect.
