Product Description

This Anti Graffiti coating is a two pack clear polyurethane coating which provides a highly graffiti resistant finish inside or out.

This coating has good chemical resistance making it easy to clean and durable. Will not fade or yellow when exposed to high levels of ultra violet light or support the growth of fungus.

Can be used over compatible water based paints to provide a glaze over colour (not for use over conventional solvent based paints).

An extremely hard wearing paint which can be cleaned many times without affecting the coating.

Idea for bridges, underpasses, statues, walls, toilets and more.

This kit contains all you need to mix and apply the coating:

WB101 2.5kg mixed unit, brush, mixer, paddle, gloves and instructions.

Covers approximately 12-18 square metres.

What is WB101 2 Pack Anti-Graffiti Coating?

Coo-Var WB101 is a Water based 2 pack polyurethane anti-graffiti coating consists of a polyurethane resin and a hardener that are mixed together before application. This creates a highly durable and resistant surface that prevents graffiti from adhering, making it easier to clean off. Great for applications where water based products are required.

How does it prevent graffiti?

The coating creates a non-porous, smooth surface that prevents graffiti materials, like spray paint or markers, from bonding to the surface. This allows graffiti to be easily removed with Coo-Var Graffiti Remover without damaging the underlying surface.

It can be applied on a variety of surfaces including concrete, brick, metal, and previously painted surfaces, solvent or water based. It is commonly used on doors, walls and shutters etc.

Our WB101 2 pack anti-graffiti coatings are designed to be environmentally friendly, with low VOC (volatile organic compound) content.

How is the coating applied?

The surface must be prepared by cleaning and making sure there is no loose or flaking material. The two components are mixed according to our manufacturer’s instructions, then applied using a brush, roller or spray.

How long does it take to cure?

Based on a temperature of 20 °C

Initial cure 1 - 2 hours, Hard dry 24 hours, Full Cure 5-7 Days. Overcoating time is 16 hours.

How often does it need to be reapplied?

The longevity of the coating can vary based on exposure and wear, but generally, it can last several years before reapplication is necessary. Regular maintenance and cleaning can help extend its life.
