Driveway Paint is a water-based coating designed to add colour and rejuvenate your driveway, it's very fine pre-aggregated finish will provide a durable matt finish.

What is Coo-Var Driveway Paint?

Coo-Var Driveway Paint is a durable, water-based acrylic paint designed specifically for use on tarmac and concrete driveways, paths, and patios. It provides a protective and decorative coating that is resistant to weather, oil, and grease.

How do I apply Coo-Var Driveway Paint?

The paint can be applied using a brush or roller. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from any contaminants before application. Stir the paint thoroughly before use.

How many coats are recommended?

Generally, two coats are recommended for the best results. Ensure the first coat is left 6 hours before applying the second coat.

How long does it take for the paint to dry?

Coo-Var Driveway Paint typically dries to the touch in 1-4 hours, and can be recoated after 6 hours.

What surface preparation is required?

The surface should be clean, dry, and free of loose material. Pressure washing is recommended to remove any dirt, moss, or algae. Allow the surface to dry completely before painting.

Can I apply the driveway paint to a newly laid tarmac surface?

It is advised to allow new tarmac to weather for at least 14 days for the tarmac to weather to ensure proper adhesion.

How durable is the paint?

Coo-Var Driveway Paint is designed to withstand normal vehicle traffic and is resistant to oil and grease stains, making it a durable option for driveways.

How do I maintain a painted driveway?

Regular cleaning with mild detergent and water will help maintain the appearance. Avoid using harsh chemicals or high-pressure washing.

Can the paint be used in all weather conditions?

It is best to apply the paint in dry conditions with temperatures between 10°C and 25°C. Avoid painting if rain is expected within 24 hours of application.
